Last July I was getting ready for Doc's first homecoming. It was so exciting. This July I am getting ready to move and living in a house for the first time in years is almost more exciting. I've yet to meet my new neighbors at the apartment complex but I've met their music...let's just say July 31st can not come fast enough!
Once we get moved in and settled
we I (sure we're in this pregnancy together but he doesn't have to feel like shit so he doesn't get equal billing) will be in the second trimester and ready to start picking things up for our little one. I have been trying to figure out a theme that isn't too
themey (I can make up works if I want!) and I've decided on
The Giving Tree by Shell
Silverstein. Imagine my surprise when Doc told me that he's never heard of him! I knew he had a crappy childhood but come on! If you lived under a rock like Doc this is it:

I can do the nursery like this very cheaply. I don't even think I am going to get a bed set, I doubt I would use it and I can't wrap my head around paying over $150 for one. But with this I can do my own paintings very easily and it is minimal just like I want. I guess I need to pick up the book at convince Doc.
"and she loved the little boy very, very much - even more than she loved herself."
what a fabulous idea for a nursery!!
