fine line

I want to tell you all about what Doc has been up to, I am excited about his progress but he's under medical care and it's not my place to disclose everything.  I have always been open about what he goes through but mostly as it effects me.  I think I can keep that up.  What's really going on is that I am so glad he's there, this opportunity isn't available to everyone which is truly unfortunate but Doc's there and he's making the most of it.

This weekend he's back in Massachusetts for the first time since Christmas 2006!  Isn't that nuts?  He is only there for a short trip this time but I think he's going to go back next weekend too.  It works out so well this weekend as the pastor from him church is retiring and moving back to Whales and the new pastor is being introduced.  This new pastor just happens to be one of Doc's best friends from college.  (Have I mentioned that Doc went to Bible College in his past life?)  The school was in California so it's totally random that he would end up there.

The girls and me are still here plugging along.  I am ready to be sick over 110ยบ weather - isn't it almost October?  I am pretty sure that I will have rewatched the entire Dawson's Creek series by the Doc comes home.
