She was a healthy 7lbs 5oz 19 inches long

We learned we would be parents on 26 May 2009, not even a month after Doc returned home from overseas. What a welcome home gift for both of us! The next 40 weeks were a blur of excitement and nervousness.
She was such an amazing baby. Silly and happy, loving and independent. With her daddy's nose and stubborn streak and her mommy's eye setting silly side.
Now that she's a toddler life is even more exciting. She took her first steps on October 23rd 2010 and has been going ever since. She loves to entertain and will do almost anything for a laugh.
About to turn 3 she is blossoming into such a fun (and often stubborn) little girl. She knows what she wants and will do what she can to get it. She loves Mickey Mouse and Toy Story on TV but at Disneyland not so much. She likes to tell me that Mickey was afraid of her so she had to hide in the corner and cry because HE was scared.
She changed our life completely and we love it.
We hope that she continues to grow and stays healthy. We hope that she's a happy child and can adapt well to the military life. We hope she is successful and thrives when challenged. We hope that she is never too cool to spend a Sunday afternoon watching the Patriots with her parents. We hope as she grows she retains the curious sparkle that as been in her eyes since she first opened them.
We hope she can feel our love for her no matter where in the world we are.
